DAWR: Revision of Hifdh with NOON – Course Overview

Course Description:
This program is tailored to help students revise and perfect their Quran memorization under the guidance of experienced Haafizas. Through individual sessions, the course ensures personalized support, regular feedback, and steady progress, enhancing fluency and accuracy in recitation.

Course Objectives:

  • Strengthen previously memorized portions of the Quran.

  • Improve fluency, pronunciation, and tajweed.

  • Identify and correct mistakes through regular feedback.

  • Develop consistency and confidence in recitation.

​

Duration:

  • 40-minute individual classes

  • Minimum 2 sessions per week

  • Ongoing, with flexible scheduling based on student needs.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, students will:

  • Demonstrate improved accuracy in memorized portions.

  • Recite with better fluency and proper tajweed.

  • Build a sustainable habit of regular Quran revision.

  • Gain confidence through continuous assessment and progress tracking.

This course ensures a supportive and focused learning environment, fostering a deeper connection with the Quran.

What Will Be Covered?

1. Surah Translations:

  • Surah Yasin

  • Surah Waqiah

  • Surah Mulk

  • Surah Rahman

  • Surah Dukhan

  • Surah Kahf

  • Surah Fatiha

  • The Last 10 Surahs

2. Arabic Grammar Essentials:

  • Finding Root Letters: Learn how to identify root letters of Arabic words to grasp their core meanings.

  • Scales of Verbs: Understand the different forms (scales) of verbs and how they affect meaning.

  • Grammar Rules: Master basic and intermediate grammar rules to develop a better understanding of Quranic Arabic.

  • Develop the ability to translate and understand significant surahs of the Quran.

  • Equip students with essential grammar skills to explore Quranic texts independently.

  • Build confidence in finding root letters and identifying verb forms.

  • Foster spiritual growth and enhance personal engagement with the Quran.​

  • By the end of the program, participants will:

  • Understand the meanings and contexts of the surahs covered.

  • Identify root letters and verb forms accurately.

  • Apply grammar rules to enhance Quranic understanding.

  • Feel more connected to the Quran and its message.

  • Day: Every Thursday

  • Time: 3:30 – 4:45 PM SL

  • Eligibility: Open to ladies aged 18 and above​
